What Information is Collected
Vencore collects information that personally identifies you from you when, for example, you submit feedback, requests for information or other inquiries or information through web forms submitted through the Site that require you to input your contact details (“Submissions”). For example, Vencore may collect your name, telephone number, address, e-mail address(es), the company you work for and other information that you submit to or through the Site that alone or in combination with other information you submit may identify you personally.
Google Analytics also collects your Internet Protocol (IP) address to provide Vencore with an understanding of the physical location of Site users. An IP address is a unique number assigned to every computer and device connected to the Internet.
How Your Information is Used and Stored
The information we receive about you or from you may be used by us to process your inquiry or request; to comply with any law, regulation, audit or court order; to help improve our website; or for research.
Vencore does not sell, lease, license or rent personally identifiable information collected about you with third parties without your consent. Vencore may share your personally identifiable information with its affiliates, but only to the extent the affiliates have a need to know your information in order for us to respond to Submissions by you. Vencore may also provide your information to third party service providers to Vencore, to assist Vencore in, for example, contacting you to follow up on a Submission you made to the Site. The Careers section of the Site includes a portal hosted by a third party vendor of Vencore that collects for Vencore inquiries, applications and other information submitted through the portal in connection with Vencore’s recruitment and career opportunity activities. If you register on our Careers portal, your registration information will be collected by our vendor and shared with us, and if you make Submissions through the portal, that information will be provided to us. Vencore requires third party business partners who collect or obtain personal information about you for us to maintain that information in confidence, and not to license, sell or otherwise transfer such information except to Vencore and as required to provide the vendor’s services for Vencore.
Anonymous data collected using automated means may be analyzed on an aggregated basis to learn more about Site user preferences, and to understand Site traffic patterns or other user behavior on the Site. Vencore may share that aggregated and anonymized data with third parties for marketing, promotion and advertising purposes, or to enhance the Site or our products and services offerings.
The Site, and the products and services offered through or described on the Site, are not meant for children under the age of 13. Vencore will not knowingly retain any personally identifiable information that is inadvertently included in an e-mail submission, help inquiry, or other request submitted through the Site that Vencore learns was submitted by a child under the age of 13. If Vencore learns that it has collected personally identifiable information about a child under the age of 13, Vencore will delete such information promptly after Vencore has been made aware of the issue.
Monitoring and Security
Vencore may, but is not obligated to, monitor Site use. Vencore reserves the right to store, review and disclose to third parties any information, including your personally identifiable information, obtained on or through the Site as may be needed or requested to satisfy any applicable governmental law, regulation, investigation or proceeding, including any court order. Vencore may also map IP addresses to your personal information if Vencore believes it must do so to enforce compliance with the Terms, this Policy, Site security or a government order.
Vencore takes commercially reasonable steps to protect the security of the personally identifiable information collected through the Site. Although Vencore takes these steps in the normal course, you should know that transmissions of data over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be secure. Vencore takes reasonable precautions to ensure the integrity and security of its internal information technology systems. However, Vencore cannot guarantee that its systems will not be compromised. As a result, Vencore does not warrant that your personally identifiable information will not be disclosed to or accessed by parties other than those authorized under this Policy.
Managing your Information
If you request, Vencore will disclose to you the personally identifiable information collected by Vencore about you. If you desire to update, modify or delete any personally identifiable information you have provided via the Site, Vencore will take commercially reasonable efforts to fulfill your requests. Please note, however, that Vencore may need to retain, for purposes of enforcing this Policy or the Terms, to resolve or respond to disputes or litigation, or to provide information to satisfy applicable laws, regulations, investigations or proceedings, your personally identifiable information in our files. Additionally, your personally identifiable information may be retained in residual back-up files that are a function of our network’s back-up systems.
