Vencore has been selected as a finalist for a Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce (NOVA Chamber) Greater Washington Innovation Award for its HVH Precision Analytics’ (HVH) patient finder innovation. HVH is a joint venture between Vencore and global health and wellness communications company, Havas Health.
The NOVA Chamber's Greater Washington Innovation Awards is the premier event honoring the thought leadership, innovation and creativity of the individuals and organizations in various industries in the greater Washington metropolitan area. The event recognizes the people and organizations who present new methods, ideas and products to improve our lives and challenge the status quo.
As part of the selection process, Vencore was required to present to a panel of judges at the Greater Washington Innovation Awards Showcase on Friday, March 2.
Oodaye Shukla, HVH chief data scientist, gave a presentation on HVH's capability to shorten the time to diagnosis through the use of a proven and validated methodology to find diagnosed patients, prospective therapy candidates, undiagnosed patients and ideal candidates for clinical trials so that innovative therapies find the patients who desperately need them.
Shukla’s presentation advanced Vencore as one of a five finalists in the Health and Life Sciences category. Awards will be presented on Wednesday, April 4, at the NOVA Chamber’s Greater Washington Innovation Awards at The Hamilton in Washington, D.C.
