Vencore Labs, was selected to present on three Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to a panel of leading scientists, technologists and engineers from the U.S. government at the 2017 Innovators’ Showcase. The showcase is an annual forum for independent research and development (IR&D) hosted by the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA).
Vencore Labs delivered three out of the four selected presentations in the IoT category. The presentations provided insights from the company’s leading edge research in the emerging IoT areas of telematics, smart grid and low power networks. The Vencore Labs solutions presented government agencies innovative approaches to better achieve their missions and revealed several new opportunities in a rapidly changing technology landscape.
INSA’s Technology and Innovation Council has hosted the Innovators’ Showcase since 2010, in collaboration with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The annual exhibition provides a unique forum for the private sector, public-private enterprises and academia to present their innovative IR&D projects to members of the Intelligence Community as well as other agencies that contribute to national security. This year, only 24 abstracts were accepted out of the 110 received, making this the most competitive showcase yet.
