Program Supports Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Protective Service
Chantilly, Va. — October 1, 2015 — Vencore, Inc. announced today that it was awarded a $43 million program to support IT services for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) Federal Protective Service (FPS) under the National Protection and Programs Directorate. The program, which includes a one year base with four one-year extension options, was awarded under the EAGLE II government-wide acquisition contract.
Under the scope of the contract, Vencore will provide professional and technical program management services to support the FPS Information Technology Division. This includes support for the national operations of FPS MegaCenters and satellite offices throughout the United States and United States Territories.

The FPS mission is to render federal properties safe and secure for federal employees, officials and visitors in a professional and cost-effective manner by deploying a highly trained and multidiscipline protection force. FPS is charged with protecting and delivering integrated law enforcement and security services to over 9,000 buildings and safeguard their occupants.
FPS is also the co-lead for the government facilities sector as outlined in Presidential Policy Directive (PPD) 21, for Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience. The Information Technology Division is part of the FPS Headquarters organization, and is tasked with the management of information technology services and information systems for all FPS locations and employees or support personnel.
