Vencore Awarded Program Valued up to $10 Million for Sandia National Labs

Chantilly, Va. — June 23, 2015 — Vencore, Inc. announced today that it was awarded a $10 million sole source indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (ID/IQ) program with Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, N.M. to support the development and testing of military-use applications including radar, satellite and telemetry software. Projects under this contract will include providing mission-critical support for nuclear detonation detection system, mobile radar tagging/tracking/locating, synthetic aperture radar, and other classified programs.

Vencore’s scope of work on this program includes custom software development, formal software and system testing, documentation and training.  Vencore’s intimate knowledge of custom systems, longstanding relationship with Sandia National Laboratories and innovative methods for resolving database conflicts are among the reasons that it was selected as the vendor to perform this work.

Advanced scoring methodology for training and cross-platform Web hosting of multiple map data sources will also be performed by Vencore on this critical program.  It will also customize a method to simulate 3D audio and provide expertise in custom XML schema. 

Work on the program is scheduled to commence immediately.
